We’re committed to the growth of our people by providing a range of training and development pathways. We also work with a number of training institutions to enable our team to gain formal, NZQA-recognised qualifications from on the job learning.
Looking to undertake further tertiary study? We’ll get behind you too. We support our people to gain diplomas and degrees in civil construction, supplying the tools to pursue a structured career path. Many of our team have stepped into senior leadership roles by following these pathways.
GROWING OUR PEOPLE
We’re committed to growing our people and provide a range of training and development pathways. We work with a number of training institutions like Connexis (the Industry Training Organisation for the New Zealand infrastructure industry), to enable our team to gain formal and NZQA-recognised qualifications from on the job learning.
Looking to undertake further tertiary study? We’ll get behind you too. We support our people to gain diplomas and degrees in civil construction, enabling them to pursue a structured career path. Many of our team have stepped into senior leadership roles by following these pathways. Biomedical Science graduate Jessica Pak joined us in a project administration role, and she now has a Quantity Surveying qualification.

A FOOT IN THE DOOR
We’re helping people get started in construction careers with our support for the Tāmaki Skills and Career Hub (part of the Tāmaki Regeneration Project) and the Youth Connections Employers Pledge.
The Tāmaki Skills and Career Hub connects local Tāmaki people with local employment opportunities and enables them to gain training and qualifications. Iese Tulia is our first candidate recruited through Tāmaki Career Start, and we’re thrilled to have him on board. Find out more about his story.
We’re also helping Auckland youth into construction careers with the Youth Connections Employers Pledge. The pledge matches employers with youth that are seeking employment opportunities in Auckland. We aim to help future proof our workforce and provide career pathways for our young people.
