Federal Street, from Mayoral Drive to Wellesley Street, represents a key CBD conduit, housing historical elements such as the St Matthews Church while linking the thespian-driven shared spaces of Aotea Square and the Civic Theatre to the fine dining and entertainment of the SkyCity interface. JFC understood the importance of delivering a product that provides for the local economy in practical ways while minimising disruption to the commercial sensibilities and cultural lifeblood of the local community.
The scope of works consisted of the following:
- Re-alignment of existing Vector HV/LV cabling into existing Joint Bays, installation of new Vector gas, comms and LV ducting, plinths, Service Link pillar, cabinets and private connections
