The Town Square is a high-quality urban space forming the community heart of Westgate. The tree planting maintains a high level of visual amenity throughout the Town Centre utilising a combination of deciduous and evergreen species. The large civic space now serves as a pedestrian-friendly, slow speed and shared space zone.
Tahi Road/Maki Street was the construction of a new high-spec road to connect Rua Road through to Fred Taylor Drive. The construction was completed while the Northwest Shopping Mall was being built which demanded a lot of co-ordination with all stakeholders to ensure that works on both sites were able to proceed and meet the required timelines. Despite the complexity of this project, JFC was able to complete works ahead of schedule and under the initial budget.
